It was reported that a Carp well over 40lb was caught and lost around pegg 27
I took this with a pinch of salt, but have now had it confirmed by 4 regular Carpers that this did happen!

2 TENCH, 7 BREAM TO 4lb , 2 carp to 3 lbs and lost 5 good fish,I was told you had put fish in BUT I DIDNT EXPECT TO CATCH LIKE THAT.BY THE WAY NEWS LETTER BRILLANT.

YOU HAVE OPENED THE PEGGS OUT ON THE SMALL LAKE AND ALONG LEFT HAND ARM IT NEEDED DOING IWAS GOING TO ASK ABOUT IT AT THE NEXT MONTHLY MEETING BUT IWAS INFORMED BOB AND GRAHAM SORTED IT ,WELL DONE.
ARRIVED AT PEGG 15 3PM 16/7/09 DID NOT KNOW YOU HAD DRAGGED IT.
